What You'll Learn

The American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers program is designed to train professional-level rescuers to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants until more advanced medical personnel take over. 



American Red Cross BLS  

What You'll Learn

The purpose of the Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) course is to ensure that healthcare and public safety professionals have the knowledge and skills necessary to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies. 



American Red Cross Life Threatening Bleeding and Tourniquet Application  

What You'll Learn

You will learn how and when to control bleeding by applying a tourniquet and hemostatic dressing. 


American Red Cross Head, Neck, Muscle, Bone and Joint Injuries and Splinting 

What You'll Learn

Helps individuals recognize and care for head, neck, and spinal injuries as well as muscle, bone, and joint injuries, including the need for training in the use of a rigid splint and a sling and binder.


American Red Cross Opiod Overdose and Naloxone Administration 

What You'll Learn

Helps individuals recognize an opioid overdose and trains them how to administer naloxone via the nose (nasal spray or nasal atomizer).


American Red Cross Asthma and Quick-Relief Medication Administration 

What You'll Learn

Provides individuals the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize an asthma attack and give care for a person experiencing an attack by administering medication until advanced EMS personnel arrive and begin their care of the person. 



American Red Cross Anaphylaxsis and Epinephrine Auto-Injector Administration 

What You'll Learn

Provides individuals the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize anaphylaxis and give care for a person experiencing anaphylactic shock by administering medication until advanced EMS personnel arrive and begin their care of the person. 


American Red Cross Bloodborne Pathogen Training 

What You'll Learn

The course teaches staff how bloodborne pathogens are spread, how to avoid exposure and what to do if exposed to infectious material.
